just had a 2D1N stay at Downtown East with S13 classmates. happy to see all of them.

The Deluxe Room

DTE chalet room is nostalgic. rmb the times when i was still a toddler, i often went there for family gathering. But what has already past can never be back again.

Alone in the room watching Channel 5 oldie drama. Gua was late for lunch with me :( altho i expected it.

i stayed in the room for 45 minutes waiting and finally lamer and zl came to break my boredom.

but, gua was very late. she was 2 hours late. my stomach couldn't tahan anymore. so went out with lamer to catch some bites at DTE. we had char kway teow at the food court. it was so lousy. Dover Char Kway Teow is much much better and cheap! the char kway teow proved to be too little for us and we went to had some more at Emicakes. lamer had Mango Crepe. and i have my FAVOURITE TIRAMISU. liqour, i like!

the girls were served during the BBQ. the guys can cooked! heee.... it's the second time i ate from BBQ wholesale caterer. this time the buffalo wings and otah seemed to taste better. but the sambal sotong was... haix. super stingy loh. probably onli the size of a baby squid. they also seemed not to haf enuff sambal for the stingray. Sambal stingray with not enuff sambal. not shiok! and the marshmallows bought by KS specially for BBQ purposes. they were super super super nice. the exterior gets the nice golden-brown and crispy texture and the interior is melted evenly. slurp!! nice! and that also explained for it's price. hahah...

and ICE CREAM CAKE for Gua's belated birthday. heartwarming. with birthday song and wishes... sry no photos, bro took DC to bangkok. hee...

planned to stay up whole night, but my eyes simply shut down uncontrollably... played and talked thru the night till 5 plus. not to forget the 2 warnings from security. haix, ain't chalet suppose to be rowdy! we all fell into lalaland in the end... and woke up at 9 to check out and breakfast at tampines. parted after breakfast. look forward to nxt gathering. miss everyone...
