One night a man had a dream.
He dreamt he was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:
One belonging to him and the other to the Lord...
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life,
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned that Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most, you would leave me."
The Lord replied,
"My precious, precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then I carried you."
God's grace delivered me.
I chose to take my step of faith to obey God.
It's also through this time that I sensed God so tangibly.
God is my strength.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;
the old has gone, the new has come!
It is an act that shows our obedience to Christ.
It is an act that shows our repentance.
It is an act that shows our readiness to serve.
Most importantly, it is an inward change.
The need to obey.
The determination to die to the old self.
The desire to serve.

My Water Baptism.
It might be too fast for me to react in water.
But definitely, there was no need to react.
It is the moment when all things were left to God.
Trust in God that He will anoint me.
And inwardly, I received.

In the letter wrote to Timothy from apostle Paul,
1 Timothy 4:12-16
12 Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
13 Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching.
14 Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you.
15 Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.
16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.
The pencil will continue to be sharpened by God.
Sharpened through the tests and trials.
But God's love and His grace will never let this pencil run out.
